Rory L. Aronsky, co-author of What If They Lived? (published by BearManor Media), started writing movie reviews in 1999 for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s now-defunct Teentime pages, leading into 10 years of reviews for such websites as Film Threat and Screen It. He was a member of the Online Film Critics Society for four years, two as a member of its Governing Committee. He returns to writing reviews, this time as relaxation while he works on his next books, wholly without his old ambition of becoming a full-time film critic somewhere. Born into a family passion for all things Disney, his favorite movie is "Mary Poppins," his favorite childhood movie was "Flight of the Navigator," and just like Walt Disney World itself, he prefers to live in between fantasy and reality, taking in each as he sees fit.
